Glucosamine Sulfate
Glucosamine Sulfate works to relieve the symptoms of Osteoarthritis by stimulating the production of glycosaminologlycans and proteoglycans.
Essential in our joint cartilage health, these substances are responsible for the cartilage joint functions, including the joint’s ability to bear loads and elasticity for motion.
Additionally, Glucosamine Sulfate has been shown to inhibit cartilage degradation common to people suffering from osteoarthritis. Regular daily use has also exhibited mild anti-inflammatory properties beneficial for those suffering from inflammation of the joints.
Scientific Studies of Glucosamine Sulfate
**Published reports of three double blind, randomized and placebo-controlled clinical trials involving 732 patients with mild to moderate Osteoarthritis show that daily taking of Glucosamine Sulfate at the oral once-daily dose of 1,500mg retards the further deterioration of the joint structures, relives pain and improves joint mobility.
These studies also show that long-term use of glucosamine sulfate up to 3 years have no reported serious side effects.
